Tires that are too big or too small for your vehicle can kill gas mileage, make it run poorly, and be downright dangerous. Before you buy your next set, pay us a visit: our tire specialists help you find the tire that fits your vehicle, your budget and your own taste.
We look at how far you drive, where you drive and even when you drive. And if a tire won't hold its pressure, we'll examine it and tell you straight whether it needs a repair or a replacement.
Check your tire pressure at least once a month. A simple hand held tire gauge gives you an accurate enough reading.

Is tire pressure really that important? If my pressure is a few pounds high or low, what does it really matter?
Tire pressure is extremely important to the performance and the SAFETY of your vehicle. You should check your tire pressure frequently, at least monthly. If your pressure is too high or too low, at best, you're killing your gas mileage and adding to the wear and tear of your tire's tread. At worst, improper tire pressure can cause complete tire failure.
I have a flat tire, can I repair it or do I have to completely replace my tire?
That all depends on the amount of damage done to the tire and the condition of the tire. If the sidewall is blown or damaged or the seal is broken, then no, the tire is shot, but if there is a simple puncture that can be sealed, then yes, the tire can likely be repaired. Put your spare on and bring the tire to a certified mechanic for repair and testing.
I've heard that the tires on my vehicle actually affect my gas mileage, is this true?
Absolutely, your tires affect your gas mileage in many ways. Make sure you have the proper tires for your vehicle, and keep them at the manufacturer's suggested tire pressure. Tires that fit your car and stay properly inflated give you the best mileage the rest of the vehicle allows.
